Patient Care

If you are a provider seeking case consultation, or are concerned your patient may be a candidate for hospitalization, please call the UCSF Pediatric Access Center at 877-822-4453 and request to speak with an on-call physician from the Eating Disorders Program. For more information about our inpatient service and admission criteria, you can refer to our Inpatient Medical Stabilization page.

If you are a provider seeking routine outpatient treatment, which may include multidisplinary assessments and treatment from our medical and psychology teams, we require a referral via APEX (internal), MD Link, or fax (415-353-4485). Please note, insurance authorization may need to be obtained by your office, dependent on a patient's plan. We can assist your staff, if necessary.
